Knowing Allah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Bismillahir-Rahman-nir-Raheem

In the Name of Allah The most Gracious The Most Merciful

One always hears people say “I love Allah” but have you ever wondered if Allah loves you? What should one do to get nearness to Allah? What does Allah wan’t from His slaves? How does a Muslim show his love for Allah (‘aza wa jal)? Ponder about these questions….

Say (O Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam to mankind): “If you (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur’ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Surah Aali Imran 3:33).

Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, (Al-A’la 87:1)

And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). (Surah Qaf 50:16)
