بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah The most Gracious The Most Merciful
All Deeds are Based on Intention
‘Umar ibn al-Khattab relates that he heard the Messenger of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) “Verily actions are by intentions, and for every person is what he intended. So the one whose hijrah was to Allah and His Messenger ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) then his hijrah was to Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) And the one whose hijrah was for the world to gain from it, or a woman to marry her, then his hijrah was to what he made hijrah for.” [Agreed upon]
The Halaal is clear and the Haraam is clear and in between them are the Doubtful matters
Narrated An-Nu’man bin Bashir: I heard the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) saying, ‘Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (suspicious) things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else and at any moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book of belief, Hadith 49).
Whoever innovates is not from the Jamma’ah
Narrated by Ayesha : The Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم )said:“Whoever innovates something in this matter of ours which is not a part of it, will have it rejected.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book of Peacemaking, Hadith 861).
The Ummah will split into 73 sects
The Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) also described them in the following terms: “My ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of whom will be in Hell except one group.” They said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said: “(Those who follow) that which I and my companions follow.” This is mentioned in the hadeeth of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr which was recorded and classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi (2641). It was also classed as hasan by al-‘Iraaqi in Ahkaam al-Qur’aan (3/432), al-‘Iraaqi in Takhreej al-Ihya’ (3/284) and al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi)
Allah looks at our Hearts and Actions
Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) said, “Verily, Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but rather He looks at your hearts and actions.” (The Book of Virtue, Good Manners and Joining of the Ties of Relationship, Hadith 6221)
To stop an evil action !!!
The Messenger of Allaah, (صلى الله عليه وسلم), said, the meaning of which, “Whosoever of you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest of faith.
Allah loves the one who repents
The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “Every son of Adam makes mistakes, and the best of those who make mistakes are those who repent.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2499, and by Ibn Maajah, who narrated this version – al-Sunan, ed. by ‘Abd al-Baqi, no. 4251)
…Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers). (Surah Al-Baqara 2:222)
We have been left upon clear guidance
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “I have left you upon clear guidance. Its night is like its day. No one deviates from it after me except that he is destroyed.”
