Jihad

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Bismillahir-Rahman-nir-Raheem

In the Name of Allah The most Gracious The Most Merciful

Jihad has many forms. It means to struggle. The Muslim’s struggles are a continuous day to day thing. He must struggle against himself, shaytan and the environment around him. Jihad-un-nafs is the biggest battle a Muslim has to deal with on a daily basis. To stay away from fitnah and to stay steadfast on this religion. Although it is a big struggle it is not the greatest struggle in reward and in action.

Jihad in its highest degree is to struggle in the way of Allah and to make His word prevail. This has many forms and fighting in His way is one of them. People seem to shy away from this topic after certain groups and sects have used and described this great deed in a false and distorted way to suit their desires.

The ones who have distorted this deed know nothing on its ruling and what the goal of it is and when it is permissible to use and its conditions. Jihad is far from suicide bombings and killing innocent people. A Muslim under no condition has the right to kill innocent people and has no right being unjust with anyone even if they are not a Muslim.
